I went shopping with Raging Storm (his online name) the other day, and these two trucks pulled into the parking lot. I don’t have a story to go along with this or anything, I just thought they were really cool. From a distance I thought all these animals were made of iron or brass or whatever, but on close inspection we discovered they’re made from a heavy-duty plastic. They’re all life-size (except maybe the buffalo and the dinosaur) and I wanted some for my yard, but I knew Buck wouldn’t like them. I would have liked to buy six or so, and set them up in a line at the edge of the property. Maybe put Christmas lights on them.

They’re lovely! I want the cute little Brontosaurus… The hippo is adorable, too.
These are amazing! Maybe Buck wouldn’t notice a bear or two…
Saugus, MA has to have one of the largest collections of plastic animals in any town.
There is not only a giant orange dinosaur, but a smaller green one and a hippo all in one place:

The orange one recently had it’s legs broken (don’t know who it owed money to but they were serious):

And cows:

There’s also a leaning tower of pizza:

And they’re all within half a mile of each other. Yet, no one seems to think aliens had anything to do with it. Short-sighted humans!
I should have taken your picture next to them so everyone would have a reference to their size. We should have asked the guy if they came with the life size plastic turds.
I wonder if that’s how Noah’s ark was like.
@ Raging Storm – I like to think that’s exactly what Noah’s Ark was like.
dear sir
i am after a plastic replica dog,as i hav feral goats that jump my fence and eat the vegetables and plants ,do you sell them , thankyou…..stefan
I’m looking for a hippo like my grandma had in her yard, do you sell them or do you know how to find one?
Sir:
I am looking for a statue of a circumcised wildebeest for my grandfather’s patio. This should be approximately six feet tall with very lifelike detail. Can you please let me know if you carry this item?
@ Stefan and Tony – Sorry, I don’t carry any of these items.
@ MBMQ – While rolling on the floor laughing my ass off, I read your request out loud to my weekend guests. We have concluded you are the funniest freaking person on earth.
I need to track down plastic life-sized range animals (horses, buffalo, etc.) for a function we are having in August. Do you know where the items in your picture were purchased from and, if so, would you mind forwarding the information to me so I can contact them.
Thank you very much.
I’m trying to track down some of these plastic animals (like the hippo) and I was wondering exactly where you purchased these?
I didn’t buy them, but I took the photo as they were being delivered to The Brass Shop, on Stiles Drive in El Paso, Texas. It was a couple of years ago, but good luck!
Hi, I was needing to know where a person can purchase a life size horse like you have in the first photo on this page.. My husband has a farm and his dad was the last connection to the Pony Express in N.W Arkansas. He wants to get either one or two to put at the enterance o the farm gate. Can you please help me?
